BAS Connections: Congregants Helping Congregants

Providing support for members of Bet Am Shalom Synagogue

Some congregants may need help in order to attend services or other BAS activities, sustain or strengthen their connection with the Bet Am Shalom community, and take advantage of the many programs and events that our synagogue has to offer.

Will you join the BAS Connections team? You can volunteer to . . .

• Drive a congregant to services or a synagogue program
• Check in with a congregant by phone
• Pay a visit to a congregant who has difficulty getting out
• Coordinate a small team of volunteers

With your help, we can enable all of our congregants to share in the full vibrancy of the BAS community. So whether you need help or can offer a half-hour a month or a few hours a week, contact either of the Connections co-chairs, Harriet Gluckman or Rochelle Leiber-Miller, so that they can gain a better sense of your interests and availability and include you on the roster of Connections volunteers.
