Early Bedtimers' Friday Evening Shabbat Service

Very special Shabbat service with the Rabbi on Friday at 5:30pm for young children, their families, grandparents and friends. Dates: 9/16 with dinner, 10/14, 11/4, 12/2, 1/6, 2/3, 3/23, 4/27, 5/18, 6/15 (with dinner)

Shorashim ("Roots")

Shorashim is a monthly Sunday morning program for children 0-5 and their parents. The program meets from 10:30am-11:30am and brings to life a different Jewish holiday or theme with age-appropriate cooking projects, arts & crafts, stories, songs and other activities. Parents enjoy time bonding with their children in a Jewish setting and meeting other parents with young children. Shorashim is free and open to BAS members and non-members. Babysitting on Shabbat

Every Shabbat morning a babysitter is available to watch children from ages two to six. This free service is open from 10:30am until 12:30pm or the end of the service. Our sitter is selected and supervised by our congregants with young children. This is a safe and warm space for young children to be while their parents are engaged in prayer.

Family Havdallah

The popular BAS Havdallah program continues this year. The one-hour program is fun, family-friendly and ends with the beautiful Havdallah service.

2011-2012 Family Havdallah Dates:

• November 12 from 4:30-5:30pm
• December 17 from 4:15-5:15pm
• January 28 from 4:45-5:45pm
• February 11 from 5-6pm
• March 17 from 6:45-7:45pm
