Erev Sukkot

6:15 - Service in Main Sanctuary

Shabbat Service/Yom Tov

torahJoin us as we circle the sanctuary seven times with our Torah scrolls, complete the Torah and begin it again. We call up our children for a group aliyah under a chuppah. We remember loved ones who taught us Torah by reciting “Yizkor.”  We honor our “chattan and Kallah of the Torah". See flyer.

A festive kiddush follows the service.

Shemini Atzeret / Simchat Torah Celebration

We fill our “big room” with dancing and joy as we usher in a
new year of reading the Torah.  Klezmer musicians will enhance our festivities.  We surround our children with an unfurled Torah as we read the last verses of Deuteronomy, and the first verses of Genesis. Come have a Slivovitz, join the hakkafot, and celebrate the wonders of Torah and Jewish peoplehood!

See Flyer.

Family Purim Celebration

Join us to celebrate Purim! Come and hear dozens of our students chant Megillat Esther! Sing songs with Rabbi Bronstein and Cantor Marcey! Bring your favorite noisemaker to drown out Haman’s name! Come in costume and receive a prize! This family-friendly service has something for everyone, even delicious hamentashen after the service!

Megillah Reading/Adult Purimspiel

Join us for Judaism’s most famous megillah, Megillat Esther, and Bet
Am’s most infamous creation, the Adult Purimspiel.

Come eat some hamantashen, get a little crazy, hear the megillah, and see for yourself what everyone will be talking about at the kiddish water-cooler the following Shabbat! A magical evening is guaranteed. Rated PG 13 for
sexual content and violence (and that’s in the megillah!).
