Time: Reading of the Megillah: 9:00 to 9:45 am
The festivities follow immediately after: 9:45 to 11:20 am
There will be booths, crafts, tzedekah, light snacks, and the Shushan Palace!!!

Passover Cooking for Kids

Open to all Hebrew School and day school kids and their friends, Grades K -6! Please join for a morning of cooking, eating, tasting, and FUN! Details in attached flyer.

Social Action Project: "Growing Together"

This is the 3rd phase of our joint Kol Ami and BAS Social Action Family and Teen Project, Growing Together,  funded by New York Federation UJA. Help us build a vegetable garden with the youth of the Elm Street Neighborhood Center in Yonkers. Bring your rakes and garden tools (please label!)
We will provide some kosher for Passover snacks!

Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Memorial Day): Family-oriented event

Holocaust survivor, Annie Bleiberg, will visit BAS to talk about her experiences during the war -- her life in the Krakow ghetto, how she was hidden by righteous gentiles before being sent to a concentration camp and much more. The whole community is invited.

 

Annie, a friend of Cantor Marcey Wagner, is a docent at the Holocaust Museum of Nassau County and speaks in schools and synagogues all over the metropolitan area. Please come welcome Annie and hear her amazing story.

A light snack will be served just before the program.
