The Refugee Experience: Dinner & Speaker

Enjoy a delicious Middle Eastern buffet dinner, share Havdalah, and learn from a refugee about his experience resettling in Westchester.

Dinner will be provided by Damascus Dining, a catering company owned and operated by Syrian refugees, Bahaa and Suzan Ali-Dib who started this business after coming to the United States last year. The Ali-Dibs resettled in Pelham with the help of Hearts and Homes for Refugees and Catholic Charities.

Our guest speaker will be Reshad Ahmadi from Afghanistan, who was resettled in Westchester last year by HIAS (Hebrew Immigration Aid Society).

The charge for this event is $25 which covers the cost of the dinner and goes directly to the Ali-Dibs caterers.

LIMITED SEATING! Register by April 20.
