Acharei Kiddush: Surviving During WWII

Join BAS member Grace Rapkin as she discusses her mother’s recently published lifework – a memoir of Bella Kuligowska Zucker’s survival during WWII.

Bella chronicled how she bravely marshaled unexpected resources to manage as a teen alone during the war. Sabina – In the Eye of the Storm offers a different perspective on how many Jews survived outside of the concentration camps, in more familiar yet infinitely hostile settings.

Grace will read briefly from the book, share some of her mother’s experiences, her own experiences growing up in a dual-survivor household and will answer your questions. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and it is also available for purchase on Amazon.com.
