Join us as Cynthia Ehrenkrantz discusses her memoir about her girlhood in wartime Britain.

Cynthia Ehrankrantz, long-time BAS member, was raised in the London area of Great Britain and emigrated to the United States in 1957.
She began writing when she was eight years old – a story about a family of pins living between the floorboards of a dressmaker’s shop. She has been writing ever since but began publishing more recently after raising three children and retiring from a successful career in the specialty food industry. Cynthia also tells stories at regional storytelling events and sings with the Yiddish Philharmonic Chorus in New York. Seeking Shelter is her first published book.
