Join BAS member David Aftergood and Rabbi Dan Ehrenkrantz in a conversation about Dan’s new book, Where Are You? A Beginner’s Guide to Advanced Spirituality. David will interview Dan and facilitate a Q&A session.

Dan Ehrenkrantz was the president of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College from 2002-2013. Prior to becoming RRC’s president, he was the rabbi of B’nai Keshet in Montclair, NJ.

Dan Ehrenkrantz was ranked one of the 50 most-influential American rabbis by Newsweek magazine. He has been featured on radio and TV programs such as the PBS television series Religion and Ethics Newsweekly, the public radio program Weekend America, and the Montel Across America Show with Montel Williams.

Dr. David Aftergood is a board-certified psychiatrist who is in private practice in Westchester County. After completing his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine he served there as an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry. He went on to study complementary approaches to psychiatric treatment including hypnotherapy, mind-body medicine, Buddhist psychology, kabbalistic philosophy, mindfulness meditation and EMDR. Dr. Aftergood has led meditation groups at Bet Am Shalom for many years.
