Kibbutz Reim is across the road from the Nova Music festival, near Gaza.
On October 7th, the Kibbutz suffered a large-scale, brutal terrorist infiltration of dozens of Hamas terrorists, who slaughtered, kidnapped, and injured many civilians, from children to the elderly, and many soldiers and police.
Kibbutz members relocated to Eilat and Tel Aviv and most are poised to return to rebuild the Kibbutz and to begin processing the significant trauma experienced by members and regional communities.
The Kibbutz envisions itself as a regional hub to provide sports-based mental health interventions to help people of all ages heal from trauma, regain coping skills, rebuild confidence, and improve interpersonal relationships.
