Adult Bible Study

February 22 at 9:30 am - 10:30 am

The Book of Jubilees is a retelling of the Book of Genesis and part of the Book of Exodus that addressed the questions and concerns of a Jewish community living under Greek rule around  200 BCE.  As such it provides insight into the conditions and thoughts at that time, into the Books of Genesis and Exodus and also the question of reconstructing Judaism in difficult eras.  The Adult Bible Study class invites both in-person and online participation as we study this important work.

No prior participation in the class or knowledge of text or Hebrew required. All texts are in English. All are welcome to attend one or more sessions.  The class is led by David Badain.

Most Sundays, 10:00 – 11:30 AM.

Please email David Badain to register for in-person attendance and/or for the Zoom link.
