Fill the Void is the story of a young woman in the Hasidic community who is faced with a heart-wrenching decision: Should she marry the young man with whom she has been excitedly matched? Or should she preserve the family connection to her deceased sister’s baby son by marrying the now-widowed husband? This beautiful thought-provoking film and its ending leave the door open for interpretation and discussion about important life choices and values— just as the best sort of movie-going experiences often do.
