Witness the Dark: A Tisha b’Av Spiritual Practice

Join Rabbi Akiva for morning davening and a reading “potluck.” We invite you to bring a printed article or two (or more) that you’d like to read connected to topics like violence, war, hatred, bigotry, oppression, and natural disaster, perhaps that you haven’t been able to read or look too closely at in the past. Once you’ve read your articles, you’ll have the opportunity to witness what others have brought (**not** a discussion), reflect (through meditation or journaling), and we’ll close by singing together our yearning for a transformed world.
