Israel’s Moment of Truth: How We Reached These Crossroads and Where Do We Go from Here? A Briefing by Prof. Dan Ben-David

December 10, 2024 at 7:00 pm

In the wake of the pivotal events of this past year and a half, Israel faces a historic turning point that will require profound policy shifts to safeguard its future. Join Professor Dan Ben-David, founder and president of the Shoresh Institution for Socioeconomic Research, for an eye-opening briefing on the existential domestic crossroads Israel must address today. His talk will draw on briefings delivered by Shoresh experts this summer to leaders of Israel’s political parties across the right-left, religious-secular spectrum. The findings of the Shoresh Institution underscore that if these issues remain unaddressed, the nation’s security and stability will be jeopardized. Prof. Ben-David focuses on critical topics such as the impact of Israel’s education system and demographic trends, offering a long-term, international perspective on the country’s internal challenges – and outlining a framework of the four key areas necessary for a pivot to a sustainable trajectory.
