TL Parent Group

On our first official Sunday of Torah La’am classes, parents are invited to enjoy coffee and bagels with other parents from 9:00 to 9:30.
Our program will begin at 9:30; parents will meet with Lisa Jacobs, our Director of Family Education and Engagement, to talk about the upcoming year of Torah La’am and family programming.
Lisa and Ellen Weisberg, from WJCS’ Partners in Caring program, will be leading an activity and discussion for parents about ways to support our students as they transition back to school.
All K-6 Torah La’am parents are encouraged to attend.

Ellen Weisberg, M.Ed, LMSW received her masters in social work from Simmons College School of Social
Work and her masters in Child Study from Tufts University. In addition to her work in Partners in Caring,
Ellen is the coordinator of WJCS Project SEED, which helps synagogue-based early childhood centers
address children’s challenging classroom behaviors and provides support, education and counseling to
parents.
