Happy Purim 2021

Sunday February 21, Monday February 22 and Wednesday February 24, 2021 were designated days for drive-thru pick up of Mishloach Manot at BAS as well as delivering food for the Feeding Westchester Food Drive, organized by the Tikkun Olam/Social Action Chevra. Congregants arriving masked in cars were greeted by other congregants welcoming them first at a food drop off location. Groceries were taken directly from car trunks, keeping everyone COVID-safe. Then the cars drove past our welcoming Happy Purim sign to await their Mishoach Manot bags. More than anything else, people were thrilled to see each other in person! Even though we were all difficult to recognize in our masks, we were so happy to be three dimensional and real! A whole lot of much needed food was collected. All of the Hamantaschen in this year’s Purim bags were baked by Gillian Friedlander in our BAS kitchen. Thank you Gillian!
