Ketubah Exhibit Grand Opening
Our Bet Art Shalom Gallery is featuring an exhibit of ketubot of members, members’ families, and those created by members. The show opened at Rosh Hashonah but the Grand Opening Celebration was held the evening of November 1, 2023. It was an extremely well-attended, fun and festive event. Moira Herson-Yanuck designed, organized and with the help of Phyllis Handler, set up the bountiful refreshments, which included hors d’oeuvres, desserts and Prosecco on a beautiful buffet with flowers and candles. Anne Corey did the organizing work for the evening and planned publicity. Roberto Lombert and Ruth made the evening run smoothly and did all the heavy lifting. Julian Hasen played the piano for everyone’s enjoyment throughout the evening. Dan Heyman and Peter Ackerman were our bartenders, pouring Scotch, Bourbon and whisky for all who desired. Desserts were provided by many volunteers. Lisa Goldberg provided nonstop support and facilitation of every stage of the celebration.
