Julian Y Bernstein Award 2024
Barbara Aloni was given the Julian Y Bernstein Award for Volunteer Service on May 7, 2024. She received the award along with 21 other amazing people who had contributed to the Jewish community in substantial and very important ways. There was a strong turnout of Bet Am Shalom members to the evening ceremony at Temple Israel Center to show our support and love for Barbara. Our County Executive, George Latimer, spoke during the ceremony. Afterwards there was the annual ice cream bash sponsored by the Rockowitz family in memory of Noah Rockowitz.
