Marisa Jackson has been an active member of Bet Am Shalom synagogue since 2003.  She has three children.  Marisa has a degree in Early Childhood Education from Tufts University and a Masters in Reading from the Bank Street College of Education.  All of which helped inform her work as part of the Shorashim Chevra, School Board member and a School Board chair at Bet Am Shalom.  Marisa has been a teacher of Kindergarten and First Grade in public school and at Bet Am Shalom. She is excited to share her joy of Jewish living with her Nitzanim (Grades K-2) students and their families.
