May Zamechek is a talented and experienced educator. She joined our teaching staff in 2011 after relocating to this area from Connecticut, where she was a respected Hebrew School Principal and Jewish educator for twenty-nine years.
May is a warm, enthusiastic, and engaging Jewish educator who has successfully taught 3rd graders through teens. May is respected for building connections with the students and engaging them in creative, experiential learning. She has experience working with middle school students in public school, where she collaborated with teachers to better meet the needs of students.
May is excited to continue to be part of our Bet Am Shalom team of teachers.
