Social Action Benefit Concert with Joel Wenhardt and the All-Stars

Joel will bring some of his most talented friends together for a show that promises to be a flavorful mix of rhythm, song and soul – and for us at BAS, with an added Jewish tinge.

Joel Wenhardt, 23, is one of the brightest young minds in the New York City jazz scene. A graduate of The Juilliard School, he has performed regularly at Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Monterey Jazz Festival, and as a band member in numerous venues in Europe and Asia. His talents were featured on Paul Simon’s 2018 revamp of his song One Man’s Ceiling is Another Man’s Floor.

Featuring:

Julian Lee on saxophone
Gabe Schnider on guitar
Russell Hall on bass
Kyle Poole on drums

I went to give a clinic at his old high school, and they’re still talking about him! [He is] a true poet. - Wynton Marsalis
