The Evolving Vision of Tel Aviv Through Photographs

September 18 at 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Tel Aviv, the world’s first Jewish city, was envisioned around a century ago as a garden city akin to the Garden of Eden in its promotion of human well-being. Tel Aviv’s aspirations grew upward as the city realized them in concrete, steel, and glass

Meanwhile, Tel Aviv carefully preserved its garden city heart alongside its new towering personality.

In 2019, Michael photographed this story, recording structures from humble garden houses to the city’s towering skyscrapers.

Michael’s presentation will highlight how Tel Aviv remembers and experiences itself.
