Between History, Memory, and Myth: The Exodus According to Biblical Scholarship Part 2

August 10 at 1:15 pm - 2:30 pm

Join us for an Acharei Kiddush about what modern biblical scholarship has uncovered regarding the Exodus, a central tradition of the Jewish people.

Is the Exodus merely a work of fiction, as some historians claim, or is there a historical core to the narrative?

Part 1 August 3rd: 1:15 – 2:30 pm

Part 2 August 10: 1:15 – 2:30 pm

It is not necessary, although desired, to attend both Parts 1 and 2.

This program is presented by Scott Meshnick, Bet Am Shalom congregant and biblical aficionado.

See weekly calendar, dedicated email, or email BAS Office for the link to register.
