Understanding the Crisis: 14,000 Jews in Ethiopia

Join us for a virtual event to understand the plight of the over 14,000 Jews remaining in Ethiopia under appalling conditions, 70% of whom have parents, children or siblings in Israel.
Israel recently announced it would bring 3,000 to 5,000 Jews from Ethiopia to Israel. While they await Aliyah, over 96% of the Jews are living below the international poverty line. They face a civil war, severe malnutrition, poor medical care and inadequate shelter, with almost no one coming to their aid. Read more
