25th Judaica Craft Show
The weekend of December 7th and 8th, 2019 was the weekend of Bet Am Shalom’s 25th Judaica Craft Show. The weekend was made possible with the contributions of 250 Bet Am Shalom volunteers, a raft of financial sponsors, the support of our Rabbi, Cantor and Board of Trustees, and the incredible hard work of Chair Betsy Miller Landis and innumerable committee Chairs and members. This show is a massive undertaking, in preparation, execution and follow-up. And then there is the shopping for beautiful articles of Judaica, art and jewelry to own or to gift. To provide nourishment for the body, to accompany the abundant nourishment for the eyes and soul at the show, there is Cafe Shalom! Some BAS members spent months preparing home-made foods, and others personned the cafe to sell and serve the food. On Saturday night PROOF (a.k.a. the Moody Jews) played music, and there was Prosecco and tasty hors d’oeuvres for all.
