AJC We Are All Immigrants Seder
The American Jewish Committee sponsored the annual We Are All Immigrants Seder on March 27, 2019, this year at Temple Israel Center. The name of the event will be changed next year, in recognition of the reality that many of the African American attendees are not descended from immigrants, but rather from slaves kidnapped and involuntarily brought to American shores. Our own Richard Cohen chairs the event annually. Support and attendance from Bet Am Shalom members was significant. Here are some photos from the event, highlighting BASers who were there.
