Sukkot 2022
Once again, our Rabbi, Les Bronstein, led a group of congregants to the Lower East Side of the the city to pick out beautiful lulavs and etrogs… and also to visit a pickle factory/store! Robert Weintraub took photos of the excursion. After they returned to the synagogue, Laura Solomon was on hand to distribute the lulavs and etrogs to those who had pre-ordered them. On Friday, October 7, 2022, our long time Sukkah decorating chair, Regina Schwartz, returned to her post, creating the most gorgeous sukkah imaginable. Enthusiastic volunteers showed up to assist in the monumental task of turning Gina’s vision into reality. You can see the sukkah taking shape here.
