BAS Together: Outdoor Gardening
BAS members joined BAS congregant and experienced gardener, Penny Grossman, for three hands-on sessions on outdoor gardening. Penny is head of the BAS garden committee, which is responsible for the beautiful landscaping and plantings around the BAS campus. Participants brought gloves, pruners, questions, and enthusiasm. The topic for Sunday, March 19, 2023 was pruning. It was windy and bitter cold, but the intrepid gardeners boldly pruned. After leading a tour of the gardens and property, Penny handed out a list of plants and trees growing at Bet Am Shalom. Moira Herson-Yanuck took these photographs of the event.
